ABOUT APPLEATCHA AGRITECH KY
AppleAtcha AgriTech KY, LLC was formed to develop 500 acres of dwarf apple trees, repurpose former coal mining land, employ local workers and reinvigorate the Eastern Kentucky economy. We, also, share knowledge and resources with local residents about how to start their own individual orchards.

AppleAtcha AgriTech KY, LLC is one of the leading resources in Kentucky-grown fresh apples in this competitive advantage. We are planning to plant "Honeycrisp", "Pink Lady" and "Gala" apples that are favorite varieties for consumers. Not only are we planting our amazing apple trees, we are planning future opportunities to develop a cold storage facility and apple sorting and processing plant to integrate supply chains.

Developed in the 1960s at the University of Minnesota, Honeycrisp apples are a cross between Honeygold apples and Macoun apples. They offer a simple sweetness and refreshing taste. Contradictory to their name, Honeycrisp are surprisingly soft.
The apple industry is dominated by exports from China. AppleAtcha AgriTech KY, LLC provides a homegrown supply of delicious varieties which not only boosts local economy but also ensure the domestic availability of this important commodity.
